Karl Marquardt - world famous naval architect, ship modeller and author has become an honourable member of the Russian Guild of Ship Modellers

An Admiralty style model which has been constructed from oak which was under water for 300 years and has become black. Built according to the original design of F.H.Chapman`s "Afchitectura Navalis Mercatoria". Bronze medal of the Championship of Russia - 2008.
Black oak which was ordered to be buried under the water by Peter the Great. Recently exhumed after 300 years, this uniquely rare wood was used to construct this model
